Born in Worcester, MA a.k.a. the (508) ​Chris got his start experimenting with musical instruments and recording tools in his rapping, beatboxing, breakdancing fathers home-studio at age four. From an early age he was describe as artistically and musically inclined, writing poetry, drawing comics, and singing everywhere and everything.
His first brush of success came at 11 years old singing in front of over 2000 people at First Unitarian church in Worcester with the Abbey Kelly Foster Regional Charter School choir under the tutelage of Bermudian Soul and Gospel singer and choir director Ms. Ruzelda Severin. A charismatic oracle-like teacher who transformed Chris and many of her students into adept musical learners.

From there his course of life was forever changed and throughout high school he excelled in musical theatre, played trumpet in jazz band, and spent his high school junior and senior year engaging in songwriting and appearing at open mic nights.

He then went on to double major in Jazz Voice and English with a minor in creative writing at Umass Amherst, transferring to and graduating from Berklee College of Music with a self directed degree in Business, songwriting, Performance, and composition.

During these formative years Chris honed his skills as a vocalist, guitar player, songwriter, producer, and session musician. Appearing in the viral disney medley youtube video with The Umass Doo Wop Shop, opening for B.O.B and 3!Oh3 with Kids on A Hill, and producing his first EP with The Frotations.
​
Post graduation in 2015 Chris spent nearly a decade in the field as a wedding singer with Boston Common Band, helping to gain awards and positive reviews from websites like The Knot, appearing with local acts like The Velcro Soul and The C.O.M.P, recording Exquisite Beasts with The BeetStreet Groov at Flux Studios, producing his 3rd EP and First album as Chris Kazarian during the pandemic and more recently recording his second album as Melo Green, set to release this fall November 26th.

In 2020 Chris began his teaching career at The Burlington Real School of Music where he honed his skills as a private instructor and developed what he calls the 5 basics of singing while teaching hundreds of students, running dozens of student bands, and helping coordinate their astounding ensemble program. There he learned to imbue his students with the same love, candor, and dedication to the craft that has been nurtured in him through his life entire.

​Now he aims to bring that positive experience to Providence, RI both virtual and in-person.
